"Raw food purists do not eat meat or fish, even raw preparations such as tartare, carpaccio and sashimi. Though these are indeed raw foods, some feel the parasites carried by raw fish and meat are damaging to the body and counter the health aims of a raw food diet. They also worry that, with regard to fish, ocean contamination known to collect inv the fatty deposits of fish is passed on to sushi diners, again working against the purification aims of eating raw."

I don't think I'll be eating any meat in my transition or when I become 100% raw as I don't eat it anyway. This isn't just because it doesn't "follow" the way of eating but also because once your body gets used to eating such healthy foods you get sick if you eat meat or fish. It's okay in transition though but I'm not a big fan of meat.
